Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Intern to support our Finance & Operations team. This role provides hands-on exposure to accounting, financial controls, and reporting within an investment banking and advisory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and ledger entries
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Help with bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Assist in monthly and quarterly financial close activities
- Support preparation of MIS reports and internal financial summaries
- Maintain and organize invoices, vouchers, and financial documentation
- Assist with audit and compliance-related documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams for accounting and financial data
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, professional environment
