Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Intern to support our Finance & Operations team. This role provides hands-on exposure to accounting, financial controls, and reporting within an investment banking and advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and ledger entries
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Help with bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial close activities
• Support preparation of MIS reports and internal financial summaries
• Maintain and organize invoices, vouchers, and financial documentation
• Assist with audit and compliance-related documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams for accounting and financial data

Candidate Profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus)
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, professional environment
